Kombucha is a naturally fizzy, fermented tea that has been enjoyed for centuries as a health-promoting beverage. It starts with a base of sweetened tea, traditionally made from green or black tea, which is then fermented with a live culture known as a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast).
During the 12–14 day fermentation process, the SCOBY works its magic, transforming the tea into a tangy, slightly sweet, effervescent drink filled with live probiotics, organic acids, and enzymes. This fermentation process also creates a unique flavor profile that’s refreshing and invigorating.

Crafted with mindful ingredients to keep you balanced, energized, and feeling your best, this unique blend is our take on a holiday-inspired cola that’s just as functional as it is delicious.
Here’s what makes our Holiday Cola Kombucha special:
*Birch Bark-Known for its purifying properties, birch bark helps cleanse the body and supports healthy digestion. A perfect boost during the holiday feasting, it brings a light and refreshing note to our kombucha!
*Dandelion Root -A natural liver detoxifier, dandelion root keeps your system running smoothly, especially after indulgent seasonal treats. It’s the ingredient to balance your body and support healthy digestion, no matter how many holiday goodies come your way.
*Vanilla -With its warm, sweet aroma, vanilla provides a grounding, comforting essence that brings balance to every sip. This botanical also helps calm the nervous system—a little support we could all use to ease the holiday hustle.
*Nutmeg & Star Anise-These classic holiday spices are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits to help you feel your best. Plus, their familiar flavors make each sip of our kombucha feel like a holiday indulgence.
*Licorice Root -Known for its soothing properties, licorice root supports respiratory health, making it a wonderful companion as temperatures dip. It adds a gentle, earthy sweetness that rounds out the flavor profile beautifully.
*Cinnamon & Ginger-These warming herbs are a powerhouse for circulation and digestion, delivering a spiced kick to keep you cozy and fend off winter chills. With each sip, they help you feel both energized and comforted.Root Beer made with medicinal roots, bark and Chaga mushrooms. We waited until the colder part of the year for this brew because the combination of roots, bark and mushrooms compliments the winter energy. It is earthy, grounding and designed to support the body and mind for fall and winter. Sassafras and sarsaparilla are the two most prominent flavors. Sarsaparilla is a blood purifier, anti oxidant and soothes joint pain. Sassafras strengthens the immune system and relieves adrenal stress.
The other ingredients we used in our brew-
*Ginger: increases serotonin and dopamine levels. This is important for mental health as we turn towards the darker part of the year. Ginger is most well known for its support of the digestive system and regulating blood pressure.
*Licorice root: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial.It eases upper respiratory infections, treats ulcers, aides digestion and beneficial for a leaky gut.
*Chaga mushrooms: high in antioxidants, immune boost, reduces stress and increases energy. Our Chaga was foraged sustainably in Oregon.
*Dandelion root: supports liver function and bile production to the aid the body in detox. It supports the growth and maintenance of healthy gut bacteria in your digestive tract
*Birch bark: reduces inflammation, supports joint health. Supports the liver and gallbladder in detox.
*Star anise: an antioxidant power house, supports immune function and hormone regulation
Strawberry Lemon Balm Strawberries are loaded with antioxidants. Antioxidants boost your immune system, reduce inflammation, offer a natural detox for the body, support the digestive system and stabilize blood sugar. They’re an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese and also contain decent amounts of folate (vitamin B9) and potassium. Vitamin C is also known to boost collage and prevent sun damage of the skin which is great for summertime.
Lemon balm is nurturing, calming and nourishing. As a mama I call on lemon balm often for me and my daughters. It cools body, mind and spirit, even on the hottest summer days. Its cooling effects are primarily attributed to its diaphoretic properties, which stimulate the body’s sweat glands, promoting sweat production. This process helps to dissipate excess body heat through evaporation, effectively reducing body temperature. Lemon balms also boosts mood, reduces stress, alleviates anxiety improves sleep and benefits the digestive system.

Our Story
We are an off-grid, homesteading family turned micro-enterprise, living out our dream life on the land in Fairfield, IA, where rolling fields meet crystal-clear water. Our journey began in 2020 when we set out to embrace a more natural, community-centered lifestyle. It wasn't long before we discovered that brewing kombucha was the perfect way to share our gratitude and connect with the wonderful new friends and neighbors who helped us settle in.
Kyle, a former chef and food truck owner, and Lindsey, a folk herbalist and traditional birth attendant, poured their combined passions into their craft. What started as brewing in a humble 12-gallon kettle has blossomed into a labor of love—an alchemy of flavors and wellness that tells the story of our family and our shared dreams. In 2022, we took the next step and opened our nano-brewery, inviting the public to taste the fruits of our journey.
