Our Story

We are an off-grid, homesteading family turned micro-enterprise, living out our dream life on the land in Fairfield, IA, where rolling fields meet crystal-clear water. Our journey began in 2020 when we set out to embrace a more natural, community-centered lifestyle. It wasn't long before we discovered that brewing kombucha was the perfect way to share our gratitude and connect with the wonderful new friends and neighbors who helped us settle in. Kyle, a former chef and food truck owner, and Lindsey, a folk herbalist and traditional birth attendant, poured their combined passions into their craft. What started as brewing in a humble 12-gallon kettle has blossomed into a labor of love—an alchemy of flavors and wellness that tells the story of our family and our shared dreams. In 2022, we took the next step and opened our nano-brewery, inviting the public to taste the fruits of our journey.
